Talking about her journey, she stated, "It's been quite a learning process actually because, at the start, I didn't want to be an actor so for a person who didn't want to be an actor to someone who has completed 20 years or two decades, you can imagine how much I must have learned through my journey."

The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai star added, "I also got an opportunity to work with Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Khan in my first three films; and my learning started when I saw them put in the kind of hard work they do. It has been a huge learning experience for me because with every film, every director and every actor, you learn something new regardless of whether the film works at the box office or not." Talking about how cinema is today, the actress revealed, "It's amazing how cinema has changed in so many different ways in the last couple of decades. We are going through a wonderful time wherein there is a lovely mix."
