His tunes pick you up and make you fly. This time the brilliantly talented Sahir Ali Bagga has revived up a Seraiki classic, charging up the musical molecules of the beverage band. Released in the latter half of the tuneful season, Bagga’s song, titled Baazi hit dead centre. As the season was becoming known as a trey of tributes, the fabulous fankar came up with something that would arouse the party with the jazzing up of the local sound. Who can forget Bagga’s great work in Humayun Saeed’s Bin Roye, especially Rahat Fateh’s hit early on in the film. Wonder why he is doing no new films in the country. Bhawen Sir Di Bazi Lag Jawe is a number from Bagga that has had a prolific run on quite a few channels in the past. A few Sindhi channels had, in fact, run videos based on it. However, this is the first time this number has been dialled up like this! And a great welcome, indeed. Aima Baig also surprises us with Bagga with her suitable tone. She has clear and uncomplicated vocals, and sounds fit for a few more hits before the year is out.
