Good Food & Healthy You

Lose Weight,
Gain Height
Q: I am a 23-year-old girl with weight 70kg and height 5 feet 2 inches. I want to gain height and lose weight. Please suggest a diet plan for me. Anon
A: You cannot gain height as you have crossed that age. It is impossible for a girl to gain height after reaching the puberty age. However, a boy can gain height till he turns 19. You should try to lose around 15kg to have a perfect body. Weight loss process becomes easier if a person is physically active. To achieve your target, increase your physically activity by involving yourself in household chores and sports. Fast food is a complete no-no for you. Slimming supplements and powders are also of no use as they have lots of side effects. Decrease your reliance on machines and try to do chores yourself. You can consume salads, fruits and vegetables.
