Diet & Weight Loss

Bring Variations In Exercise Plan
Q: I am a 42-year-old married woman with weight 55kg and height 5 feet 3 inches. I exercise daily on orbitrek exercise machine for 15 minutes but haven't got any results so far. How can I lose weight with diet? Zeba
A: Your weight is perfect according to your age and height so you should not be too worried about it. If you still want to lose a few kilos, increase your physical activity. Bring some variations in your workout plan and increase your exercise time to quickly get the results. As far as your diet is concerned, try to make a few changes in your eating behaviour. Avoid condensed and powdered milk. Also try to avoid desserts such as kheer, custard and firni etc. Avoid having bread and biscuits with tea or in between meals and have a fruit instead. While dinning out try to avoid ice-cream, sweet dishes, butter, cream, margarine, pasta, candies, cakes and pizzas. Carbonated drinks lead to weight gain so also try to avoid them.
