You are not overweight, just lose 4kg to achieve an ideal weight. It takes almost a year to shed off post pregnancy weight. To boost your metabolism, have a glass of warm water before every meal and have a cup of green tea after every meal. Follow a diet plan which incorporates lean proteins and low fat dairy products, unsaturated fats, lots of fresh fruits and in total makes up approximately 1500 calories. Never skip breakfast. To speed up metabolism, have six small meals after every three hours. Exercise is also very important to rev up metabolism.

Choose fresh or frozen vegetables whenever possible, avoid canned ones as they contain a lot of salt. Have a diet rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals to boost your growth hormone.

Foods like fortified cereals with vitamin D and calcium are also good for you. Consume whole grains, oats, poultry, fish, bananas, peanuts and soybeans for lunch and dinner.

Do squat jumps, running jumps and depth jump exercises to gain height. You can consult a fitness expert to get the details about these exercises. As far as your diet is concerned, avoid junk food items completely. Consume dairy products and have a protein rich diet. Proteins will help in building body muscles whereas dairy products will provide necessary calcium for body growth. Stock your cabinets with low sodium soy sauce, steak sauce and buy unsalted or reduced salt nuts, seeds, crackers, popcorns and pretzels.

As a mid morning snack you can have raisins, a banana or half cup melon. Have a bowl of fresh fruits for lunch. Have grilled chicken with steamed vegetables for dinner. You can also have clear soups for your main meals. Limit sugar intake and avoid white carbohydrates.
