Alishba Yousuf

The super talented Alishba Yousuf has made her mark on the Pakistani drama industry in a short span of her career. She started her journey as a VJ and also featured in numerous ad campaigns of some prominent brands before trying her luck in acting. She has showed her impeccable acting skills in many blockbuster dramas like Ek Nazar Meri Taraf, Main Abdul Qadir Hoon, Mere Chara Gar and Mere Dard Ko Jo Zuban Mile. Recently MAG caught up with Alishba for a quick chat. Excerpts:
What's your professional philosophy?
You need to be honest with yourself in order to survive in this industry.
What has been your favourite role so far?
The character I depicted in Ek Nazar Meri Taraf is my favourite so far.
What role would you love to play that you haven't yet?
I really love to enact realistic characters. So, I look forward to playing such characters in future as well.
What motivates or inspires you to achieve your goals?
Well… anything can inspire me. For instance, my work being appreciated or recognised makes me want to do better.
Your current projects?
I recently finished shooting for the sequel of Tanhaiyan which is being telecasted from two channels nowadays. I am very excited about the audience's response.
