Summer is the perfect time to wear your hair up. For an effortlessly stylish look, go with milkmaid braids
1. Make sure that your hair is washed well with a shine enhancing shampoo and conditioner. Apply a heat protectant product and use a flat iron to straighten the lengths.
2. With a tail comb, make a neat middle parting such that the entire volume of your hair gets divided into two thick sections. Take each of the sections, start braiding the hair till the edge into two thick, regular braids on each side.
3. Secure the ends with elastic bands on each side. Pull one of the braids across the crown of your head, over to the other side, behind the ears like a hairband. Then conceal it behind the ear, or till where it reaches, with a bobby pin.
4. Repeat the process for the other braid. Make sure you conceal both of them nice and tight, so that they remain in place. Apply a wax to settle any flyaway stand. Finish with a holding spray.
