Nicole’s
clean-up
It seems that motherhood has inspired former bad-girl Nicole Richie to clean up her
act – including her skin! Apparently, Paris Hilton wants to get rid of all the tattoos and piercings she’s accumulated over the years. Says a source: “She has nine tattoos that she wants to get rid of, including angel wings on her back. She says that she cannot entirely erase who she was and what she’s been through, but wants to be role model for Harlow”
- her daughter.
Career in
Politics
Scarlett Johansson has been left red-faced this week, after it was revealed that her “email relationship” with presidential candidate Barack Obama isn’t quite as intense as she had made out.
When quizzed about their supposed frenzied exchange of emails, the man himself insisted, “She sent one email to (my assistant), who forwarded it to me. I (wrote) saying, ‘Thank you Scarlett for doing what you do,’ and suddenly we have this email relationship.” Stretching the truth to suit herself? Maybe Scarlett has a career in politics after all…
Amy’s Deadly Disease
The extent of the damage that Amy’s lifestyle has inflicted on her ravaged body has been revealed, after her father Mitch admitted his daughter had developed a deadly lung disease. Revealing that test results had shown the Rehab singer had “traces of emphysema” in her lungs, worried Mitch said, “If she doesn’t quit smoking it’s gonna get worse” – which, naturally, prompted Amy to immediately spark up another cigarette.
“She’s smothered in nicotine patches,” insisted her deeply in denial father. “She’s responding brilliantly to treatment. She’s actually flourishing.”
Tom’s baby
gifts to Nicole
Tom Cruise is looking to smooth things over with ex-wife Nicole Kidman. The superstar has been sending over expensive baby gifts to the expectant mum. This week, Tom sent her a Neiman Marcus gift basket overflowing with all the baby clothes and tiny toys a pampered newborn could want. Says a source: “Katie Holmes went in and asked for the best of everything in the basket – it cost well over $2,000.”
