True love for sure
Women want the same thing - they want fairytale. They want to feel like Cinderella. Love still makes the world go round. Says Saman, “One thing that I want the most is a person who loves me unconditionally. Believe me, if you get that one person, your life is perfect. I know many people who want money but what’s life without that someone special who loves you. My life is beautiful because of my husband Anwer. A lot of people envy me for that.” Agrees Saima, “I want everything but if I am asked to choose, it would be love.”
Tigress at work!
When you see a woman pitching fresh ideas in every meeting and also cancelling dinner dates with her partner or friends for attending an official gathering, she’s a woman who chooses career, hands down. Sarah Ali, says, “For me, work is my passion. This definitely doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t love to have that special someone but being good at work gives me a high.” Sanya Kamal, a college student is of the opinion, “If you have a good career, you get good money with which you can shop, socialise, have nice people around and also get a successful man as your partner.”
| It's The Little Things... |
So you're in a relationship and your woman starts nagging. She tells you that you just don't understand her, and that she really wishes that you would just do more "little things." It's not the big things that make women happy; it's paying attention to the little details and showing you care that is really meaningful to them. Women are really simple. They don't need lavish gifts - they need to know you're thinking about them. Here are some ideas to get you started doing these "little things" your woman really wants:
* Make her dinner one night instead of having her make you dinner. Don't ask her if she wants you to make dinner. Make her dinner before she gets home.
* Light the candle so that she arrives home to a nice environment instead of coming home to the glaring lights of the television and other things.
* Send her a text in the middle of the day telling her "I miss your smile from this morning."
* Send a free ecard in the middle of the day . . . something cute to remind her how much you really care about her.
* If she's going on a business trip, offer to drive her to the airport or pick her up to make her life that much easier.
* Let her have control of the remote control. Don't monopolise it for a change. Just give it to her and let her actually sit there and enjoying watching one of her dramas. Then you can share one of her interests by watching it with her.
* Offer to iron one of her shirts or take her clothes to the dry cleaner instead of her being your live-in maid.
* Clean up the bathroom without being asked. Don't just sit there and ignore the mess around the toilet - Clean it up! Clean up. If you know it drives her crazy to see water splashed all around the sink, dry that area after you use it.
* Surprise her by making plans. Tell her "We're going out tonight honey." You can even just go out for dinner somewhere. It's taking the initiative that's important.
* Decide on and set aside one night a week as date night. Have a date like when you first met.
* Call her in the middle of the day and just say hello. Don't wait for her to call you.
And lastly be yourself. No matter what kind of person you really are be yourself. Let us see all the good and all of the bad. How else will we be able to judge who you really are? We don't want to find out two years later you’re a complete stranger! If you pretend to be someone you are not you'll only end up disappointing both of us.

Women still want a good marriage!
We’re still traditional. You got it right. We want to be wooed, and then finally get married happily. At least, that’s what a majority of the women dream about. Is it easy? Says Tanveera, “For me, there’s nothing more important than a good marriage. Making my married life work is an ambition.”
Women want good friends
We all need a shoulder to cry on. The TV soap Friends has given us great lessons in love and friendships. When we’re down, the ‘dial-a-friend’ therapy works wonders. Every woman needs friends. Why, isn’t Sex and the City all about great friendships? “If you have good friends around, nothing can bother you. They guard you like pillars all the time,” says HR consultant Rabia Khan. Isn’t that what friends are for!
We’re high maintenance girls
Show me the money, honey! Yes, that’s what some women love to sing. Designer bags, glasses, solitaires, high heels, clothes and a penthouse. Aaah! Now, that’s what women dream of. It’s not only a happy distraction but a reality. “I would like to embark on a shopping spree every now and then, without bothering about my dipping bank balance. This will make me the object of envy for every other woman. Money can buy anything - even a nice guy,” says team leader Jenny Rao.
Women want to be intellectuals!
Businesswoman Sameena opines, “For me, time is the most desirable thing in this world. There are so many places to visit, so many people to meet. I always feel that if I am not living 60 seconds of a minute, I am not doing justice to my life.”
