No Film On Benazir

There has been plenty of news recently about UTV making a film on the late Benazir Bhutto. And that the company is in talks with the family. This, says a spokesman for the Bhutto-Zardari family, is nothing more than a rumour. Ashish Mehta, the Dubai-based lawyer and friend of the Bhutto-Zardari family reveals, “No talks have ever been initiated by UTV. Unlike what has been reported by the media, no such discussions are on. It is unlikely that the family would co operate on such a private and sensitive story.”
Mehta pointed out the Bhatts had also planned a film on Benazir Bhutto earlier. “Mukesh Bhatt came to my Dubai office in January to discuss the film. We explained our point of view. He assured us they would not take up the venture unless they have the full co operation of the family. So that project too is not on.” So we don’t see Ash play the charismatic leader.
Bips’ Tips

Bipasha Basu and Neil Nitin Mukesh it seems were bonding big time on the sets of Freeze in Bangkok. The actress apparently grew fond of the newcomer and his earnest ways. Last seen, she was even giving him acting tips on how to perform certain scenes. Now we don’t know exactly how Neil took those tips.


Saif – Bebo Again…

Controversial to rumours, all’s well in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s paradise. We’ve heard of the numerous calls he makes to her when they’re not together. We’ve also heard how he hangs out with her when he’s not shooting. But this really takes the cake. Apparently, he was shooting in London for his home production when Kareena was to perform in Bangkok at an award function. So he kept calling her through the day wishing her all the best. But that wasn’t enough for our lover boy. He called once again. This time to tell her he’d be landing in Bangkok in a few hours and would be present to watch her performance. Bebo, of course, was over the moon. So while she performed Saif sat in the first row, face aglow with pride and appreciation. Now that’s what we call love, true nawabi style.
