Although relatively new to modeling, Asad Shah has done some impressive work in the short span of his career. He was selected for Mister International 2010 in Taiwan to represent Pakistan and bagged the title of 'Mr. Photogenic' in the competition. This talented young model has worked with numerous fashion designers and photographers. He has also graced the ramp with his powerful presence for many bigwig fashion shows. Recently MAG caught up with Asad for a brief tête-à-tête. Excerpts:
Tell us a little about yourself.
I am a commerce graduate and planning for a masters in business administration. I am dedicated and hard working.
What is fashion for you?
Fashion is chic, comfortable and being yourself.
How do you see the Pakistani fashion industry?
It is a pool of talented people.
What is the scope of male modeling in Pakistan?
It's getting better with time.
Your favourite photographer?

Who inspires you the most?
My dad and my closest friend.
Your most favourite place in the world?
A trait of yours you deplore the most?
My short temper!
Your biggest asset?
My baby-boy looks.
What's the best and worst part of your job?
Lack of punctuality is a big turn-off but I love my job for all the extra perks a model gets.
Your motto in life?
To make my parents proud.

Any words of wisdom for aspiring models?
Enjoy the moment, stay away from misguiders and just be yourself.
