Q: I am a 44-year-old woman with weight 62kg and height 5 feet 3 inches. I have undergone hysterectomy two years ago. What is the ideal weight for me? Mrs. Fahim
A: Well, if you just reduce 5kg that would be enough for you. You can achieve your target by making a few changes in your lifestyle. For breakfast, you can have egg omelette with salt-free bread or chappati with a serving of seasonal fruit or fresh juice. For lunch, try to have grilled chicken, boiled potato with any fruit. At tea time, you can consume a tomato sandwich, apple, or homemade whole wheat biscuits. Tea or coffee can be utilised whenever desired. For dinner, you can have a small serving of fish with chappati. Salt-free butter and sugar-free milk can also be used if required.
