The HOT 14
Listen up guys – the new season's nearly here and it's time for a wardrobe update. We've rounded up the must-have looks, products and treatments to take you into the next season…

1. Coloured Shoes
A coloured shoe will see you through the rest of summer and winter, adding a modern touch to the time-honoured style. A couple of vibrant shoes will refresh a classic look and can be worn with anything from a The HOT 14shirt and chinos to a sweatshirt and jeans.

2. A Suit
For formal wear that isn't outrageously priced, go for a ready-made option, and get it altered as per your size. Whether you are suiting and booting for the office or for a special occasion, there is a style for everyone. Go for a slim fit with two-button fastening and add a sleek waistcoat to blend formal detailing with modern flair.

3. Jeans
You cannot live without it, but that doesn't mean you don't buy a new one. It's about time, you donated the old pair, because of its discolouration and got a new pair yourself. For the upcoming season go for a darker design as it fits the bill perfectly, with minimal detailing that lets the cut do all the talking.

4. Dress Watch
A classic dress watch is a must-have all year round. You can be stuck in a meeting for hours, and you'd need to check your watch for time. When that happens, and all top execs are around you, you can't be sporting a Mickey Mouse watch that Robert Langdon always does. Buy a moderately expensive dress watch that suits your wrist size.

5. A Sport Fragrance
If you are on the hunt for a new scent to take you into autumn, go to a perfume store and pick a sporty fragrance. One that is lighter and fresher and is specifically designed for the active sportsman – so that you smell fresh and energetic even during dull days. Whether you are heading to the gym or out with your family, this will keep you smelling good.

6. A Branded Pen
Punctuate formal attire with a couple of striking accessories, and bid farewell to dated, dull stationery and items. Choose a silver-black, or golden-black lacquer finish pen from one of the top pen brands and your pocket will wear jewellery.

7. Exotic Cufflinks
Go for some new exotic cufflinks, that are eccentric in appearance, and look a little outlandish. Why? Well, they will make your cuffs stand out, and draw everyone's attention to the cool sense of dressing you have.

8. Skin Products
When was the last time you got yourself a skin-care product? Apart from the regular run-of-the-mill aftershave and shaving cream, this time, shop for a moisturising cream suited to your skin type, as well as the season ahead.

9. Tees
You cannot be dressed up in crisp clothes all the time, and in order to flex your body and skin a little, you need to slip in some comfy clothes. Throw on soft-fabric t-shirts, in round necks or polos, and you will look all easy and casual.

10. Fabrics
Baqra Eid will be around the corner, and you'd need to get a kurta stitched for the day. Head on to one of those fabric markets, and buy a fabric that suits the weather and the occasion.

11. Ties
You would need some new ties to match your shirts and suits this season. Head to a tie-store and pick some slim ties, with stripes, polka dots and floral patterns, as these are in fashion nowadays. Also if you don't like the ultra-slim tie, you could always choose a mediocre width that suits your physique.

12. Shirts
Head down to a men's garments store and pick up some quality shirts for the office. With so many colours and designs to choose from, and a tailor on hand, you can get your perfect shirt made to measure without breaking the bank.

13. Dress Shoes
Cut a smart dash in footwear with a patented leather shoe. Smart, versatile and ever-stylish, these shoes are crucial in your sartorial line-up, and a patent pair ticks all the boxes. Or if you're feeling adventurous, pick up a patterned design for effortless cool.

14. Leather Accessories
Maintain your sartorial standards on the go with these leather accessories. Whether you are looking for classic grains or coloured shades, the men's range will have something you will love. You can choose either one of the belts, wallets, key chains or briefcases to complete your formal look.

4. Summers Or Winters – Bathe With Warm Water
Also, remember that whether summers or winters, always bathe with lukewarm water, not hot water. This will keep your skin well-moisturised and soft naturally.

5. Cleansing Is A Healthy Habit
Cleanse your face well. Use products with natural cleansers such as milk, or you may use milk alone. Soak a cotton ball in milk and gently dab it on your skin to clean it. Throw soaps out of your window and avoid them completely. Soaps, too, snatch away your skin's natural moisturisers.
