A: Well, you need to follow a proper diet plan if you are doing exercises for body building. It's not a good idea to completely rely on a protein diet to gain muscles as it will result in constipation. Protein diets increase your cholesterol levels also. High protein diets also cause quick weight loss because eliminating carbs causes loss of body fluids. High protein diets are also rich in saturated fats which lead to heart diseases. Adding carbohydrates in your diet will also make you physically active and maintain your blood pressure. Your diet should always be balanced with the right proportion of proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
