Stubborn Belly Fat
Q: I am a 22-year-old girl with weight 48kg and height 5 feet. I would like to gain a few inches and lose belly fat. Could you please give me some tips to solve my problems? Saima
A: You cannot gain height as you have crossed that age. To look taller, you should make efforts not to gain weight. At present your weight is ideal according to your age and height. Just try to maintain it with a balanced diet and exercise. Whole wheat cereals with milk are good to consume for breakfast. As far as your belly fat is concerned, you need to mobilise your belly fat with a vigorous exercise plan. You can also take the help of a gym instructor who can guide you about the exercises which will help you get rid of belly fat. Try to develop a habit of drinking two glasses of warm water before having your main meal, it decreases appetite and a person tends to eat less. Try to include raw vegetables in your diet in the form of salads. Consume seasonal fruits in case of hunger pangs.
