A: Your target is achievable because ideally one can lose around 4-5kg in a month with a balanced diet and vigorous exercise plan. To lose weight, avoid all those food items from your diet which have invisible fat in them such as maize, rice, wheat, fresh coconut, almonds, cashew nuts, ground nuts and ghee. Besides consuming balanced diet, try to increase your physical activity and exercise daily for about 40 minutes. Try to have foods which are high in antioxidants like red peppers, papaya, spinach etc as their intake will strengthen your immune system. Although our bodies produce their own antioxidants, in order to boost one's defence mechanism, try to eat foods rich in antioxidants. To keep yourself fit drink plenty of water.
