Increased Facebook Usage In Teenagers
Facebook is one of the most popular social networking websites and is considered a formidable force in the world of social media and technology. However, there is a rousing concern regarding the increased usage of Facebook amongst teenagers. A recent study suggests that children who spend too much time on Facebook could turn into narcissists and also develop health issues. Moreover, the study also reveals that they may obtain other personality disorders, such as anti-personality disorder, anxiety and paranoia. While nobody can deny that Facebook has altered the landscape of social interaction, I would request our younger generation to realise the importance of time and learn not to give something more than it's due.

Railways In Ruin
HID Headlamps
The increasing trend of using High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps, is frequently being observed in urban centers. Decorating cars to look different should not be done at the cost of creating difficulties for others, as there have been complaints from motorists that such headlamps tend to cause glare. These lights are so strong in intensity that the drivers on the opposite road can get momentarily blinded. Moreover, driving with these lights on, increases the chance of accidents. It is my request to the traffic control authorities to immediately look into this serious issue and take strict action against the users of HID headlamps.

Railways In Ruin
Railway is considered an asset all over the world. In Pakistan however, it is one of the loss making giants of the state sector, dragging the national economy down and filling the common man with despair. Closure of passenger trains, extension of freight trains, unavailability of locomotives and lack of facilities are plaguing Pakistan Railways like a crooked termite. It was not very long ago when our railway system was one of the three best railway systems in Asia. I believe bringing Pakistan Railways back to the top is not an impossible task. Honesty, passion and patriotism will be the prerequisites for its rehabilitation.

Child Labour
Child labour is major a human rights problem in Pakistan. It destroys a child's as well as the country's future. There are countless poor children in Pakistan who are currently being subjected to child labour. Education is the basic right of every child, however it is being denied to children who are subjected to harsh circumstances on a daily basis. Often they are forced to work, in order to support their families. All these factors lead to exploitation of children, but the government alone cannot tackle this problem. Awareness should be raised and we all must understand the hazards of child labour and play our role to bring this problem to an end.

Political Talk Shows
Pakistani politics has always been very chaotic. Moreover, the kind of politics which takes place in our country has given a boost to a great number of talk shows in recent times. As the number of these talk shows have increased, the quality of content has significantly decreased. Day in and day out, nearly every news bulletin is followed by a talk show in which prolific guests are invited to deliberate over a national issue. Baseless arguments and countless talks are the focal points of these talk shows that do not serve their true purpose. It is every media outlets responsibility to be neutral in every aspect and refrain from unnecessary details, somthing that most channels fail to do.

One-Wheeling
One-wheeling is an inherently dangerous activity. It is particularly observed at night as reckless bikers are witnessed performing dangerous stunts on busy roads of the metropolis. These careless motorists not only endanger their own lives but also the flow of traffic. Numerous instances have been reported when pedestrians have been badly injured due to the heroic acts of these one-wheelers. The government needs to come up with some counter measures to stop reckless motorcyclists from such life-threatening activities.
