Saris For summer
Some call it six yards of seduction, other's call it six yards of grace and feminism – whatever popular culture phrases it as, this timeless apparel is something that the fashion world can never ignore.
Exquisite is the first word that comes to your mind when you lay your eyes on this dress. It is a style statement in itself that continues to charm the feminine kind. The adaptability of this beautiful apparel is such that it can fit any celebration and can be covered in any style to match the individuality and flavour of the person wearing them. Here are four designs that you will not be able to take your eyes off.
Lady In Red
If it's a formal event, and all you want to do with your look is turn heads, red is the colour for you. This soft red shaded sari in chiffon, with sequins strewn over its area, is the ultimate number to charm everyone. Paired with a golden sequined blouse, the contrasting colours enhance the appeal of this sari. You will surely be tagged as the lady in red, if you know how to carry it with style.
Midnight Charm
This cool grey and red coloured sari exudes a breath-taking sensuous appeal. The grey area on its pallu, and the contrasting red shade below it, along with uniform dabka work on the chiffon fabric is quite apt for formal wear. The contrasting green border, and the matching silk blouse just completes that enigmatic look for formal events.
Party Blues
Thinking of bright summery hues, this green-blue coloured sari, with vibrant embroidery on the border and corresponding embroidery on the chiffon body, gives it a very fresh look. The use of orange, pink, light blue and green threadwork, and the light blue blouse gives this ensemble a dash of colour.
Pretty Pink
Looking for something slightly less formal, but formal enough at the same time, then this one is for you. This pink coloured sari, with a drifting red gradient, and a border with embroidered floral patterns and leaves is quite attractive on the colour quotient and appealing because of its minimal designs.
