Say No To Deforestation!
Despite the drive initiated by the authorities toward more sustainable forestry, illegal logging is rife and trees are being destroyed at a high rate. Forests are rapidly disappearing for a variety of causes, including agricultural clearing, poor land management and destructive logging practices. This phenomenon is occurring despite the vital importance of forests for storing carbon, conserving biodiversity, and providing clean water, food and fuel. This trend is certainly not encouraging and is expected to rise. Deforestation is a serious problem, causing an alarming extinction of plants and animals. Hence, it is essential that we should all unite and say no to deforestation and plant more trees; this is the only way we can save our Ardent Art Loverbeautiful forests.

Ardent Art Lover
Keeping up with new contemporary art trends can be tricky. It's easy to miss the quality pieces amidst the waves of mediocre work. MAG is one of the few magazines that successfully captures current trends in the art world. I believe that everyone who has read this wonderful magazine has the same opinion. It gives art enthusiasts an update on top notch art exhibitions every week, whether by a new talent or an established artist. I would like to say a big thank you to the entire team of MAG. Keep up the good work guys!

Beggary
I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the rapidly increasing menace of beggary. There is a huge mafia working behind these beggars, controlling the entire system of beggary. These professional beggars are using children for their work. Sometimes they emotionally blackmail people into giving them money, at other times they simply annoy them into doing so and because of these 'beggars', people who are actually needy are suffering. I would like the government to take strict action against these professional beggars.

Career Counselling
It is a great idea to create awareness among students about the array of career options that are available today through career counselling. A career counselling session clears the students' minds about different career options. However, inspite of that, the session can get disadvantageous if ethics and rules are altered. Moreover, it is also observed that career counsellors nowadays are more interested in marketing their institutes. Similarly, it happens many times that students ultimately discover that the career option prescribed to them is not at all their cup of tea and this ends in a disaster. I just want to express my view that people should only opt for registered career counsellors who are really the masters of the field.

Ill-mannered Children
Television is the cheapest source of entertainment in modern homes. Children vie with each other to watch their favourite programmes. However, despite having numerous advantages, excess of it is bad. For instance, it has been observed that constant exposure can badly affect children's behaviour. Moreover, the villainous characters in most of the cartoons nowadays use bad language and children tend to copy that. I believe it has caused a lot of children to become disobedient to their teachers and elders. We need programmes that emphasise upon the importance of good manners. Moreover, parents need to realise that TV shows are not a substitute for their own presence, hence they should pay more attention to the development of their offspring.

Stop Using Plastic Bags
There have been many attempts by the city government to ban plastic bags. Unfortunately, almost all of them failed. Plastic bags are a major environmental hazard, because of the lack of proper recycling and disposal. To reduce our local environmental impact, we need to eliminate plastic bags and introduce reusable tote bags, paper bags, or biodegradable bags. I would like to request the federal government to completely ban plastic bags in the entire country. If banned, plastic bags will be an artifact of the past, bringing us closer to a cleaner, more sustainable lifestyle.
