It's hard to imagine superstar Shah Rukh Khan as an ordinary man you won't cast a second glance at. But that's exactly what Aditya Chopra turned him into in this film. Moustache, thick-rimmed glasses, light-coloured shirts with ill-fitted pants and mismatched sneakers – that was SRK's rendition of the shy and under-confident Surinder Sahni. The film's second half saw his character transforming into a loud and fun-loving Raj to win his wife's love. In keeping with the character, SRK wore tight-fitted jeans, body-hugging vests in bright colours and shades in funky colours.
