A: The target for you is 15kg which is easily achievable if you follow a diet plan religiously. You can consume all vegetables in your diet except potatoes. Have fruits, pulses and nuts frequently. Avoid oil, ghee, sugar, honey and jaggery. Avoid having canned meats, soups, sauces and puddings as they contain wheat as a thickener or additive which will then make you gain a lot of weight. Have food rich in iron to prevent anaemia. Get your blood CP done and if there is any deficiency then take iron and folic acid supplements with the prescription of your doctor. To lose weight, make exercise a compulsory part of your daily routine. 60 minutes of vigorous exercise help you burn extra calories and lose weight quickly.
