Saudi Crown Prince Dies
Saudi Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, 79, a half brother of H.E. King Abdullah, died in Geneva last week.
Prince Nayef, a long-serving interior minister, recently left the Gulf state for medical treatment, said a statement carried by state media. His funeral was held on Sunday after sunset prayers in Makkah.
President Asif Ali Zardari and PM Gilani expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Prince Nayef.
H.E. Saudi King Abdullah named his half brother Prince Salman as heir to the throne.
