· 2 medium sized mangoes
· 3tsp black tea or 2-3 black tea bags
· 4 cups water
· ½ or ¾ tbsp lemon juice
· Organic unrefined cane sugar as required
· A few mint leaves for garnishing
Chop the mangoes, puree them in a blender and refrigerate. Heat water. Remove the pan, add the black tea and stir. Cover and let the tea steep in the hot water for five to seven minutes. Strain and keep the tea in the fridge. Once the tea is cooled, remove from the fridge and pour in a blender. Add the mango puree, lemon juice and sugar to the tea. Blend everything till smooth. Serve the mango iced tea in tall glasses with some ice cubes garnished with mint leaves.
