Anushka Sharma does not really need to prove herself to anyone in Bollywood anymore. The young actress who turned producer with her film NH10 just showed everyone that she can easily pull the weight of a film without the help of an established male/female superstar! Young actors seem more concentrated on acting and playing a character rather than just being the hero or a heroine. For instance, the actress was as comfortable playing second lead in films like Jab Tak Hai Jaan with SRK and Katrina Kaif, as she was in her almost-cameo role in Dil Dhadakne Do.
The actress recently talked about her role in Ae Dil Hai Muskhil which also stars Aishwarya Rai, "It’s not a love triangle, per se. But I am looking forward to it and am excited about working with Aishwarya. I’ve loved her since I was a kid. When Karan told me that it would be Ash, Ranbir and me in the film, I almost jumped in excitement. I play one of the leads in the film and have much more screen time than what I had in DDD, where I wasn’t one of the main characters."
Aishwarya Rai too confirmed that she will probably have just one scene with Anushka Sharma.
