Jazz It Up!
While beachy neutrals and nautical stripes are summer staples, kids these days are looking to amp up the trend factor by jazzing up on colour. Colours are a fashion constant when it comes to children's wear, no matter how much you try to keep within a particular colour palette or theme, it just never feels right to limit the little one's wardrobe regarding colour. Add interest to basics with trendy highlights, or go all out and wear multiple trends at once. Let your daughter make each look her own because there are few hard and fast rules. Chambray and light denim are classics, and to brighten the look, you can pair the overalls with a bright neon coloured t-shirt and a bandana. For a softer take, add a delicate floral print, or wear a simple romper with neutral shoes – that is just for your princess.
For boys, bright coloured checkered shirts, paired with jeans, or striped tees worn with shorts are perfect for the summer look. If there is a birthday party to attend, throw in a blazer with trousers, paired with a printed round-neck t-shirt like this barracuda printed one here, and go for a bright coloured pair of converse to keep the look semi-formal!
