Consultant Physician
Dr. Mujahid Faruqi

PhysicianMy 8-year-old son had an ear infection and I took him to a child specialist. Though he felt better after the treatment, the problem resurfaced after a while. Next time, I took him to our family doctor whom he's more comfortable with. I felt our doctor understood and treated him better. Please advise which doctor I should consult in future.
Most of the ear infections are due to chronic throat infection and also complicated by ear ruptures.
So basically make sure your child has good oral hygiene. Thus brush his teeth before sleep and morning after breakfast.
I think you should always go to your family doctor first. He'll tell you what to do and where to go.

I am a 37-year-old housewife. I get fatigued very easily and this makes me very irritable. The result is that I scold my children unnecessarily. Please help.
Hope you are having proper sleep. Could be lots of other things on your mind, and in your life. Don't over work your body - work as much as your body can take. Get your blood tested.
