After news of ‘racial’ attack on Indian students in Australia, Amitabh Bachchan decided to show his solidarity by refusing to accept an honourary degree that was to be bestowed on him by an Australian university. On his blog, Big B reprinted the letter of regret that he sent the educational institution. It’s heartening to see that at least some Bollywood stars stick to their guns and actually act on their conscience.
