When SRK’s Away, Gauri Will Play!
We thought SRK-Gauri were the most perfect couple ever, sailing through life with the same song on their lips. Now we hear there are rumblings in paradise!
Mr Khan is very upset and angry with Mrs Khan, close friends told media! Apparently, at the IPL in South Africa, Gauri was partying till the early hours of the morning, while her husband-of-18-years was away.
Gauri has plenty of non-B’wood single friends who have been urging Gauri to party hard. While SRK does understand his wife’s need to break free when on holiday – and so away from the paparazzi – he was very hurt when friends told him that they partied with Gauri and her socialite friends until 5 am every day in SA.
“Right now, they are going through a rough patch in their marriage after a very long time,” said a close friend of the couple. “Gauri is not willing to give up her partying because she finally feels she is living life again after so many years. SRK is image conscious and is also not used to his picture-perfect wife going against him.”
So, will madame give up her party animal friends and her wild ways? Watch this space for more!
Troubled Times!
John Abraham fractured his foot while shooting a day-long cricket match for David Dhawan’s Hook Ya Crook. The hard ball shot straight through the air and banged into John’s right foot and he heard a distinct crack but he continued shooting as the schedule had required special permission for outdoor shooting. The actor, who will sport a cast for a month, says it won’t affect any of his films’ shootings as he would continue working despite the fracture and sever pain. The week had not been good to the actor. First he was down with viral fever followed by the unsavory link-up with Katrina Kaif. He also lost his uncle.
Sonam Sightings
After Delhi-6, Sonam Kapoor goes ultra-glamourous for her father’s home production venture, Ayesha. The movie is a modern-day Indian adaptation of Jane Austin’s famous novel Emma and it will have actor Abhay Deol playing Sonam’s secret lover, whose character is modelled on Mr Knightley from the novel. The film went on the floors recently and is being shot in Mumbai. The actor is also set to star in Dharma Production’s next film to be directed by Manish Malhotra’s nephew, Punit Malhotra. Incidentally, Imran Khan is being considered to play the lead opposite her in the film.
