Katrina Criticises Kareena
There’s no doubt that Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has worked incredibly hard to bring her career to the profound level it is at today. Especially with her latest release ‘New York’, the actress was able to take the attention away from her beauty and draw it to her talent.
Well, now it seems like she’s on to criticising actresses who would use skin and good looks to draw an audience. Apparently Katrina Kaif said in an interview that Kareena Kapoor doesn’t need to wear short skirts or show off skin to get people to love her or her films. Apparently this was her way of saying that Kareena Kapoor’s draw was her body. Unfortunately for Katrina Kaif, her do-good attitude has probably drawn an enemy in Kareena Kapoor.
Silvio Berlusconi’s Sexy G8 Escort
Faced with the thorny problem of having no "First Lady" to look after the G8 leaders' spouses on their three day trip to Italy, Silvio Berlusconi has come up with a solution in keeping with his reputation.
The Italian prime minister has asked a former model turned government minister to stand in for his estranged wife. The 72-year-old premier has chosen Mara Carfagna – now Italy's equal opportunities minister – to take care of the likes of Michelle Obama and Sarah Brown. Miss Carfagna, 33, is an ex-glamour girl whose sultry looks and portfolio of lingerie calendars earned her the title of the world's sexiest government minister from a famous men's magazine.
The one-time Miss Italy contestant will be supported in the role by another attractive young member of the cabinet, education minister Maria Stella Gelmini.
Amrita’s Short Kut
She has been hogging the limelight for her dare to bare act in Short Kut: The Con Is On. But Amrita Rao says she believes in hardwork and not taking shortcuts to achieve success in life. "My entry in filmdom was not a freak accident, it was my participation in ad films that got me due recognition with famous directors and producers. I guess that's the only shortcut I have taken in my life and it paid off. Otherwise, I don't believe in shortcuts at all, I believe in the fact that slow and steady wins the race," she said. Short Kut: The Con Is On is a comedy and it also stars Arshad Warsi and Akshaye Khanna. It has been produced by Anil Kapoor and directed by Neeraj Vora.
