There are many roles that Karan has donned over the years, producer, director and actor, and the latest one is that of a father. The film-maker recently welcomed twins whom he named Yash and Roohi Johar. Now, there is news that the father of two is planning to drop off the social radar for a while to spend some quality time with his children.

A close friend of the film-maker said, “Of late, Karan has drastically cut down on his work, but he’s still not being able to spend enough time with his children. Now, as Roohi and Yash are growing up, they recognise their father and ask for his time. Now is when he must spend as much time as possible with them.” The friend further added, “He did try to bring his twins to work, and even got a room specially done for them there. But it’s just not enough. He needs to focus completely on them for a while.”
