Colours, brightness, happiness everywhere… isn’t spring just the best? Even fashion enthusiasts would agree that this time of the year brings with it much to look forward to…

With all the cuts, colours and prints, Spring becomes the most exciting time of the year for ladies, as they have loads of exciting new trends to flaunt. Seems like yesteryear cuts are lingering through spring time. Mix and match contemporary details like peplum shirts, cape sleeves, pencil cut pants with pearl lining, and traditional particulars like angrakha cut and kaftan tops to create ultimate fusion looks this spring.

Much like the trends in any other creative industry, like food and art, fashion today is all about east and west fusion. As far as colours go, keep the focus on the lighter side of the colour wheel. This time of year places great attention on pastels, though ultra violet is one hue your wardobe shouldn’t miss out on. The shade has been declared colour of the year by Pantone Colour Institute which means you should prepare yourself to see a lot of it on runways throughout the year.

Pair your looks with classic summer/spring staples like tinted shades and add strong pop of hues to a crisp white outfit with mutlicolour bead, or neon accessories. Pop make-up, like metallic eye loner and neon pout, can also help you make(-up) a head-turning statement. Most of all, don’t forget to be comfortable and have fun while you are at it because nothing looks more stylish than confidence and a big smile!
