60 Seconds With - Komal Rizvi

Komal Rizvi has always enjoyed being at the centre of attention. As a nine-year-old dancing queen to a popular actress on TV at 16, Komal has always known how to hold her own as the multitalented entertainer that she is. She became a singing sensation at 18 and hosted a TV show, and ever since then, her career has been a roller coaster of exhilarating performances.

The biggest perk of being me is that I get to live a life that I choose to live. I get to follow my passion, travel the world, be recognised and appreciated for my talents. I really believe that I’m extremely lucky and blessed to be me.

Best part of the day for me is when I can spend that precious half an hour or forty five minutes with my parents, usually just before I go to sleep at night.

I am currently listening to is the new pop music that is all the rage right now like Charlie Puth, Kesha and the younger generation of musicians in English music. Not only do I personally like it but I also want to be inspired by it and make something different for Pakistan.

If stuck on an island, I would make sure that my entire family, friends and my servants are stuck on this island with me.

The last photograph I took was yesterday morning when I was hiking in a beautiful trail of Portola Valley, California.

Life for me is a beautiful journey. It’s about conquering goals, improving myself, helping others and making it a beautiful journey.

Best memory to-date for me is hard to pick because Alhamdulillah! I’m blessed that I don’t just have one beautiful memory; they are so many of them. They are the ones I created travelling to exotic places like Cannes, Italy and Turkey with my family.

My best vacation memory is when I went to Norway and represented Pakistan at an international festival.

My beauty philosophy is to keep it as organic and natural as possible. If you take care of the inside, it will reflect on the outside.
