60 Seconds With Adeel Hussain

From once being in love with painting and drawing to later falling head over heels with direction and acting, Adeel Hussain journeyed a long way to become the charming hero he is. With his charismatic persona and mysterious demeanour, Adeel has managed to attract a fair share of female fans. His projects like Daam, Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu, Mera Naseeb, Jackson Heights won him critical fame, while films like Ho Maan Jahan and Dobara Phir Se had him in lead characters. We cannot wait to watch what the actor delivers next!

Who is the most inspirational person in your life?

I’ve never established a ranking of inspiration. I’ve always felt inspired by way too many people and sources. My parents have always been most important to me.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

I would change my location during the next blistering Karachi summer.

How do you unwind?

Play golf, swim, learn something new, read a book or do nothing at all.

What is your favourite childhood memory?

One of the really special ones is taking a jet ski from Pattaya Beach, while being dangerously close to an aircraft carrier anchored off the coast. It was definitely one of the most dangerous things I did as a child but I had an extreme desire to see planes and was totally fascinated by aircraft carriers.

What is your spirit animal?

I feel quite sure it’s a big cat of some sort. Like a white tiger, black panther or a snow leopard.

Name a movie that has made you cry.

The Lion King

Three things you cannot live without.

Food, water, air.

If you were offered to live in any corner of the world for the rest of your life, where would you want to go?

I’m happy enough living in Pakistan. But I'm very interested in getting the chance to see as much of Japan, China and Turkey as I can. I have an insatiable travel bug within!
