Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to star in Karan Johar’s star-studded period drama Takht. And what’s more, the project will see Bollywood superstar share screen-space with Ranveer Singh for the first time. Needless to say, she’s extremely excited to work with the Simmba actor.

Talking to the press at a recent fashion event, the 37-year-old said, “It is great that finally, after so many years, I will be sharing screen space with him. It was long due collaboration. He is just a phenomenal actor. It will be an honour to share screen space with Ranveer. I am very happy.”

Kareena added that she is also looking forward to working with her good friend Karan. “I have done so many movies with Dharma in the past but after a long time, Karan is directing me. It feels great. Working with Karan is always a pleasure.”

The starlet went on to add that the comfort level she and the K3G film-maker share in real-life translates well on-screen.

“He is one of my closest friends. He is actually like my brother. Karan is somebody I trust and love immensely. For me, it’s like being at home whenever I work with Karan and Dharma. It going to be a blast for sure,” she added.
