Damien Chazelle has married his longtime girlfriend Olivia Hamilton. The two wed over the weekend, according to Us Weekly, at Point Dume in Malibu.

The 33-year-old Damien is best known for directing the hit 2016 movie La La Land starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. The musical was named Best Picture at the Academy Awards before the award was rescinded and given to Moonlight.

The beauty and the director had become engaged in October 2017 in Malibu; she shared a photo of him kissing her on the head while she flashed a fun two-diamond engagement ring.

He had taken her to the Oscars in 2016 when La La Land was nominated for Best Picture.

And when he won for Best Director, Damien brought up his lady love at the end of his speech, “Finally, I want to thank Olivia [Hamilton], my love, sitting there. This was a movie about love, and I was lucky enough to fall in love while making it. It means the world to me that you’re here sharing this with me.”
