Nearly 20 years ago, on October 18, 1998, Karan Johar made his directorial debut with the smash hit film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. As the two-decade anniversary approached, Kajol reminisced on the film’s shoot.

“It’s one of my favourite films. I was working with all my friends and we had such a blast making that film. Even today, when I think about Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, the first person that comes to mind is Yash (Johar) uncle,” Kajol says, adding, “It was our first Dharma Productions’ film and Yash uncle took such good care of us. We actually felt privileged to be working under him. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met.”

If rumours are to be believed, Karan Johar is planning a sequel to the super hit film.
