Straddling the New York and Canadian border flows the beautiful Niagara River, which streams between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie (two of the Great Lakes). Niagara Falls are located in the westernmost part of New York State, which is part of the East Coast. They are about eight hours each way via car (without stopping), or about 10-12 hours with open travel or public transit, so this is not a day trip from both the countries and It is a decent stopover if you’re traveling from New York or Canada. The astonishing sight of Niagara is actually composed of three waterfalls, although the most famous cascade is the Horseshoe Falls. The blend of its flow rate and stature makes it an epic sight to see in person. The view is cold and breath-taking with the loud roar, and is a perfect family getaway as there are a lot of friendly activities nearby to impress the kids, yet the sight itself is so beautiful that people would prefer not to turn away by any stretch of the imagination.
