60 SECONDS WITH AGHA ALI

The actor, singer and songwriter is no stranger to the drama scene of Pakistan, with numerous projects to his credit. Agha began his acting career with the drama Yaad Piya Ki Aaye (2005) as Sameer, and then pushed his acting skills ahead with drama Satrangi (2008). After a hiatus of three year, the actor delivered his musical video, Mera Pehla Rock Song (also the title of the album) which was an instant hit, followed by another musical cover called Khwab Adhoore Sahi. Proving his mettle as an actor, Agha also took challenging roles in several dramas including Halki Si khalish, Sheher-e-Yaaran, Mere Meherban and the most popular, Khuda Dekh Raha Hai, which was greatly appreciated by masses due to its unique story-line. His spectacular acting in the latest drama Band Khirkiyan is also merit a mention. Here are 60 seconds from his life!

If your life was a movie, what genre would it be?

It could never be just one movie… A library for sure with all the genres except Horror.

One thing you can eat any time of the day?

Egg pudding

Favourite cartoon character of all time?

Superman! And only Superman.

An actor you would want to swap lives with?

None.

If you were to run away and start afresh, where would you go?

Home! But I’m supremely happy with what I have and how I got here.

Best and worst purchase you have ever made?

90% of my shopping is done online. So, I often get cheated on. But I like the overall waiting and then unboxing the purchases. It makes me feel like I have gifts to receive! Even though I have already paid for them.

Favourite book of all time

Adventures of Superman. It’s a comic, I don’t read books otherwise.

One ridiculous thing you grew up believing as a child?

That an actor’s life is just about having fun.

If you could pick your own nickname, what would it be?

Rockstar.

What would a day with yourself look like?

Fantastic. But I am a loner, anyway.

How do you take your coffee?

Only in winters I take a fine creamy balanced coffee which is not too milky and not too black.

Home is...

Life .
