1. Would I benefit from getting a chemical peel for my skin problems?

It depends on the skin problem you are seeking treatment for. If you have melasma, acne, wrinkles, dull skin, then you will benefit from a skin peel.

2. Are there risks associated with getting laser treatments?

Mostly laser treatment are safe but there is a chance of skin burns. Make sure you go to a certified facility and a an experienced doctor.

3. Are OTC treatments capable of getting rid of warts for good?

Not necessarily. For best and safe treatment, you should consult a dermatologist. In case of advanced warts, you may need electric cautery cryotherapy.

4. Should I use oil-based or water-based sunscreen?

If you have oily skin, then water based sunscreen is the best option for you.

5. How do I know if I'm ready for Botox or not?

Mostly one may need Botox after the age of 40; Botox is mainly for fine lines on the forehead and crows’ feet around the eyes. If these lines are deep and visible, then you should go for Botox.

6. What should I do to find out the triggers of my acne?

Factors that trigger acne are hormonal imbalance, puberty, excessive use of cosmetics that closes pores, bacterial infection and propionibacterium infection. Consult a doctor to identify your triggers and for best course of treatment. •
