Prawn Karahi

Ingredients

· ½ kg prawns

· Tomato paste as required

· Salt to taste

· 6 cloves

· 2 cinnamon sticks

· 12 black pepper

· 6 small cardamom

· ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

· ¼ teaspoon mace

· 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste

· 1 cup oil

· 1 tablespoon dry fenugreek

· Ginger for garnish

· Green chilies for garnish

· Coriander leaves for garnish

Method

Heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste and prawns and roast it nicely. Add tomato paste after 10 minutes and dry the water. Then add nutmeg, mace, small cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon sticks, cloves, salt, dry fenugreek and green chilies and simmer it. Garnish with ginger, green chilies and coriander leaves and serve hot.
