Loki Halwa

Ingredients

· 700g shredded gourd

· ½ cup ghee

· 3-4 cardamom

· 1½ cup milk

· 1½ cup sugar

· 150g khoya

· 2-3 tablespoons almonds

· 2-3 tablespoons pistachio

· Silver leaf

Method

In a pan heat ghee, and add cardamom. Then add gourd and cook for about 10 minutes on medium flame. Add milk and sugar. Mix them well and cover the lid, now let it cook on medium flame until the milk dries. Add food colour if required. Add almonds, pistachio and khoya. Mix well and cook until the batter leaves the sides. Garnish it with almonds, pistachio and silver leaf. Serve it hot.
