Actress-turned-director Malik organised a press conference at the press club to support the campaign against child abuse where they raised their voices for the government to make all possible measures for the implementation of child rights. Many celebrities came in support of the campaign, some were in attendance at the press meeting while others, shared their two cents on the issue via recorded videos. The press conference was held for a film campaign based on child abuse which is directed and produced by Angeline herself. They emphasised on appointing well trained staff at the hospitals to handle the victims, separate reporting desks at the police stations to report the cases and to educate and aware the children properly at schools. “A few years ago, the numbers of child abuse cases were only a matter of stats for me until I went to Kasur and met a victim of child sexual abuse,” Malik said.
