Fashion this season is exaggerated everything! If you’ve had your time with exaggerated sleeves and are still feeling fancy, it’s time to bow ladies. Ever since we saw J Lo with her exaggerated bow off the Golden Globes red carpet, it has been on our radar. Exaggerated bows add character to your outfit, an element of drama that draws all eyes on you and makes a statement that precedes you. Fashion runways have showcased bows of all sizes, in contrasting shades to solids. We love how this trend is so versatile. Thinking in separates? A ballgown? Or a lehnga choli has your fancy? Yes, yes and yes! An outfit encapsulating chic requires an attitude to match, so strut in your bow with oozing confidence. MAG picks out some of the best picks that were haute on our runways and some that we cannot stop swooning over.

Chic Bow Belt

We’re eyeing this bright pink silk gown with cut through designed shoulder strips and a one sided leg slit. The highlight of the dress being the bow belt fitted on the waist in a dark colour. The bow is for sure setting the style quotient very high which is yet another trendy way to carry it along.

Call me bling

The blingy sequined bow tied at one side on the waist in contrasting colours with a heavy and fully embellished floor length skirt looks fashionable and highly glamorous. Pairing it up with a studded assymetrical blouse top makes sure to incline all the focus towards the encrusted statement bow.

Bowdacious bows

A good #OOTD is all in the details. That's why accents have become all the rage in apparel. They're attention-grabbing and are pretty much the only embellishment you need to make an outfit stand out. The latest entry in this trend is a classic, simple bow on the waist of your dress. All you need to be on-trend this season is to tie your look up in a bow.

Pair it with ruffles!

Bows! And! Ruffles! Hell! Yes! We like a bow and a ruffle as much as the next woman. These are two huge trends we are really enjoying at the moment. The trend for both bows and ruffles is to have them bold. Go bold or go home! So you can see the danger. When considering how to wear bows and ruffles together, try not to overplay the look. As the top is already big and flowy, make sure the bottom is sleeked down.

Put a bow on it

Feel like wearing a saree but don’t have one? Don’t worry, we have you covered! Just put on a lehenga choli and a statement dupatta on one shoulder, tie a bow around your waist and you got yourself a saree! Simple, clean and effort-less, a tailored bow at the waist accessorises with expert subtlety.

Bow-wow

The enormous bow trend has been making a mark since the start of the year. And when we say enormous we are very keen on stressing on that feature. Exaggerated bows are going to rule whichever way you choose to don them. For a bow to wow now, it needs to be large and in charge, not little-girlish.

Bow to Silk

Made for formal evenings, this self printed shiny silk gown in a vibrant green colour make you stand out in a crowd. A bow fastened to the waist with the same material adds a precise detailing to a one toned cocktail gown and is very stylish to carry.
