OUR WATCHLIST

The Lodge
Genre: Horror

A bone-chilling nightmare from the directors of Goodnight Mommy, The Lodge follows a family who retreats to their remote winter cabin over the holidays. When the father is forced to abruptly depart for work, he leaves his children, Aidan and Mia in the care of his new girlfriend, Grace.

Sonic the Hedgehog
Kid’s movie

This movie was supposed to come out in 2019, but the studio pushed back the release date after it debuted its first trailers, and fans disapproved of Sonic's design. We wonder if this is pleasing for the audience.

Hoop Dreams
Documentary

This Oscar-nominated feature from Steve James follows two boys in Chicago (William Gates and Arthur Agee) over the course of eight years of their lives. Gates and Agee are recruited from their inner-city high schools to attend the suburban St. Joseph High School in Westchester, Illinois, and play in its renowned basketball program. Hoop Dreams depicts the culture shock Gates and Agee experienced in the predominantly white high school, to which the two boys commuted 90 minutes every day.

Norm Macdonald: Hitler’s Dog, Gossip & Trickery
Genre: Stand-up comedy

In this new stand-up special, Norm Macdonald delivers sly, deadpan observations from an older – and perhaps even wiser – point of view. Although his material is often bold, Macdonald's style remains decidedly and appealingly old-fashioned. While others zig, Macdonald doesn't zag, but instead chooses to plow straight ahead. His observational comedy can focus so narrowly on the target that it strikes the true bull's eye of the premise.

Richard Marx: Limitless
Music album

Richard Marx embarks on a new chapter in both art and life with new album Limitless. This is Richard’s first album of original songs in six years. While his last album Beautiful Goodbye closed the book on one chapter of Richard’s life, Limitless opens a new one.
