Comfort food over a fine dining spread any day! Newest in Karachi is a home-based venture called The Sauceship serving scrumptious flavours of chicken wings and potato chips. The food arrived decently packaged and the unmistakable aroma of chicken wafting was an instant hunger inducer. The first to be taste trialed were the loaded potato chips – thick potato slices in chips style topped with sour cream and spring onion in a plastic box made it to me presentably without being spoilt. The sticky wings were swathed in in-house sauce and delectable to the taste buds. But the winner in the bag was definitely the BBQ wings. Dribbled in BBQ sauce and topped with sesame seeds, the taste was sharp and delicious. Despite trying to eat carefully, it stands proven that there is no way to devour wings without being messy.
