The first time I saw Nimra Khan was on a rather humid night at FPW ’19, not walking, but owning the ramp as she closed. Hers was not a ‘walk’, it was a performance that gripped the audience; with all eyes on her, I heard a murmur of oohs and aahs as she cat walked. Her poise never faltered and without a shadow of the doubt, she was a talent meant for the ramp. With unshakeable composure and magnetism, Khan makes the ensemble hers. Introduce us to Nimra Khan as never seen before?

She is dedicated and soft-hearted.

Was modeling and acting always on the cards for you?

It was not on the cards, it just happened, but I have worked very hard to flourish in the industry.

We saw your walk at FPW. How difficult was the choreography to rehearse?

It was very difficult to execute and even remember, but it was fun too.

Tell us about the feel of the ramp.

Surreal and magical. You have to look focused and elegant at the same time which is rather hard to pull off.

Walk us through the experience of this bridal shoot?

Bridal shoots are always mesmerising and it takes a lot of you.

Do you have a screening process of your artistic contributions?
What attracts Nimra Khan to the set or the shoot?

The thing that attracts me the most is the good, positive vibe. I’m on the lookout for the perfect environment to work in.

What do you enjoy and want to pursue more, acting or directing?

I can’t be biased because I love both and want to pursue both.

What are your other interests that you wish you had more time for?

I wish I had more time for sports, I enjoy it so much.

Any other hidden talents that we have yet to see?

Singing.

Have you thought about venturing into the big screen?

Yes, why not, big screen is a dream.
