Batsman Babar Azam made it big with a fifth position in ICC’s Test Batting Ranking, a career-high making the batsman the only player on top five rankings in all formats. Azam achieved the fifth rank after making 143 runs against Bangladesh in the first Test match held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Azam has been featured in 26 Test matches and scored 1850 runs at an average of 45.12. The right-hander has scored 13 50s and five 100s so far in the longest format with a highest being his record making 143 runs.
