We love nothing more than a gown with a gorgeous train and our A-listers always give us what we want. From Lux Style Awards to the Cannes to the Golden Globes, the celebutantes have given us some of the most elaborate trains in the history of red carpets. And of course, we all did a double take as the celebrities walked the red carpet. This was the perfect spot for stars to look over their shoulders and give us that signature red carpet pose. Take a look at all the stunning trains, ahead, that say "look back at it" – it'll be hard to choose your favourite.

Scarlett Johnasson hit the Oscars 2020 red carpet in a ridiculously alluring Oscar de la Renta gown. The metallic number came in a soft silk that flattered the actress's figure and extended into a train behind her. And that train – oh, that train! – was the best part about the dress. The seductive lustre of that silk train did not fail to enthrall.

Zara Noor Abbas arrived at last year’s Lux Style Awards in a gold, shimmering gown with sleeves that featured a long train. The sleeves forming a train gave a distinct yet ethereal look.

The Cannes Film Festival has played host to a number of extravagant trains over the years. Hofit Golan drove that point home in 2015 when she swanned in wearing a black appliquéd dress with an extravagant nude tulle train.

Mahira Khan has always won hearts for her impeccable fashion sense and once again she turned heads at 2019’s Lux Style Awards dressed in this sophisticated gold gown featuring a sweep tulle train designed by Dubai based designer Maison Yeya.

Sofia Carson’s Golden Globes 2020 gown is giving us some serious Disney princess vibes. This gown boasts asymmetrical layered tulle in the perfect bubblegum pink. While the gown’s princess-inspired train is head-turning enough all on its own, the top adds even more to the voluminous jaw-dropper with a textured feather strapless top.

Kate Hudson went for that sunshine spirit she’s known and loved for, on the red carpet for the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. This plunging heart neckline yellow Vivienne Westwood gown with a grand train featuring a light blue floral jacquard sure turned a lot of heads, including Usher’s.

Ushna Shah’s Kim Kardasian-esque dress went viral for all the right reasons. The actress wore a dress by Kosovo based designer Albina Dyla. The dress featured sequins and a ruffled train which absolutely killed the look. But it's hard to decide what's more eye-catching – the actress’ sleeked-up pony tail, or the sea of ruffles forming a train.
