One of the greatest players in the history of squash, Jahangir Khan played his first international match as a 15-year-old in 1979 and became the youngest-ever winner of the World Amateur Individual Championship. In November 1981, when he was just 17, Jahangir became the youngest World Open champion of all-time, beating Australian favourite Geoff Hunt in the final, and from April 1981 until Nov 1986, he went on to establish a remarkable 555-match unbeaten run over five-and-a-half years by winning six World Open and a record 10 British Open titles. In 1993, the former president of the World Squash Federation retired from the sport after winning the World Team Championship in Karachi and was later nominated by the Government of Pakistan as 'Sportsman of the Millennium'.
