Arjun & Ranbir Kapoor at war?

There are quite a few Bollywood stars who are sports enthusiasts and some, including John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor, even have their own football teams. Now, Arjun Kapoor, too, has become the co-owner of a team in the Football League. When asked about his enthusiasm for the sport, Arjun stated, "When I was 15 years of age, I started following Chelsea and that's when I turned to football. That was mainly because I loved this player called Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. It's been 17-18 years since I have been a fan of that club.” The Ishaqzaade star also shared, “I was a fan back then because I never played it as a kid and I wish I had. Even now, I enjoy playing whatever little I do. Becoming a co-owner, I somewhere feel I'm living my childhood dream vicariously through this Football club." Due to being overwieght growing up, the actor couldn’t play much football but insists that never lessened his love for the game.

When asked if owning a rival team against Ranbir Kapoor’s team would affect their friendship, he laughed and said, "This time when Ranbir's team plays against mine, Ranbir and I will be at war. All our friends will have to wear Ranbir's jersey in the first half and my team's jersey for the second half."
